About Us
Welcome to CarolineAlexander! This small (but growing) Mother-Daughter business is located in the tiny village of Fredonia, New York. It has been steadily growing over the years through the unbelievable talents of my mother, Sandy and my sister, Jennifer. Their inspiration initially came from Jennifer's little girl, Caroline, and my oldest son, Alex. Since then, our families have grown and so has CarolineAlexander. The creations have evolved into some of the most beautiful works of art that I have ever seen, and my Mother and Sister never cease to amaze me with their eye for beauty, style, grace and inspiration.
By virtue, we all remember certain "magical" moments as children...believing in the unbelievable (if only for a moment), yearning to sprout wings and fly, longing to be a princess, and waking in the morning to find that "yes!" the Tooth Fairy really does exist!
CarolineAlexander strives to carry on this sense of wonder and magic by creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind designs, including enchanting Fairy Houses, chandeliers with handmade clay roses, and jeweled-toned head pieces complete with handmade ribbon flowers and Swarovski Crystal Centers.
Each work of art is an original handcrafted item. For instance, Jennifer's Fairy Houses cannot be duplicated and require hours of thought, dedication and hard work. Each house is built from clay and designed with meticulous detail. The base of the house is pressed into tree bark. Real leaves and many of Mother Nature's resources are used to enhance the tiniest details of each house, which are then carefully placed by hand onto each house. The houses are then hand glazed, NOT painted.
In the end, what Jennifer creates are some of the most ornately decorated Fairy Houses that I have ever seen. They are whimsical, fun, and breathtakingly beautiful. If you, or anyone you know, believes in Fairies, please have a look at Jennifer's creations.
